Singapore Bak Kut Teh...
I like the rice with dark soya sauce
I think Rinnel (my lunch mate) will be very happy if I declare Tuesday as Bak Kut Teh day.lol. Other than Laksa, Bak Kut Teh is also one of our Singapore favorite foods. But, I still prefer Malaysia's Bak Kut Teh. As you can see from the pictures, the Singapore bak kut teh soup is 'clearer', in fact, they only put pepper, pork ribs, garlic, salt and water. No herbs and no "fei chee yoke", and that's why the soup is not oily.
Can't wait to have Bak Kut Teh for lunch...
Price info:
SG$4.00 for the Bak Kut Teh
SG$0.50 for the rice
Next time dont go to this shop la! You see the rice so little one, like one scoop of ice cream! Enough you eat or I eat? Yum-kung! And you see the bone so long one, give dog eat meh!
ReplyDeleteB-Ling, they cheat you one la! Dont go next time!
Jason: I thought I have already mentioned the ingredients? Singaporean do not like dark soya sauce. Singapore fried Kuay Teow also white color one. Wan tan mee, they replace the dark soya sauce to chili sauce.
